OVADA Warehouse Exhibition - Reaching Out

Joint piece of a small group of 3.

For a day we were given the OVADA Warehouse, we were to make a piece inspired by the decaying and rebuild of the warehouse on the day and put it up on the same day for viewing in the evening.
This was a lot of fun to make, we created a maquette of a body using a mannequin and building up on it, aswell as creating a relief of an arm using tape and newspaper, the same with the head. We then suspended it on bed springs that were attatched to the wall, and covered it with yarn; we also removed some bedsprings and hung them from the ceiling (which was apparently very scary to get up to!) All the pieces needed to be found objects or things bought by us, none of it was supplied by college. 
This piece filled up the entire room, we wanted to keep it dark, dingy and with dull lighting - but just enough to see what was happening.
It was well recieved and well enjoyed!
